The Hard Truth

Most Veterans Don't Know What

They Don't Know.

And at 65, what you don't know can cost you permanently.

Here's what VSN sees every single day.

VA coverage doesn't mean you can skip Medicare.

This is the #1 assumption VSN corrects daily. Sometimes delaying Part B is correct. Sometimes it's a permanent, costly mistake. The difference isn't obvious - and it's entirely situational. Your rating, your TRICARE status, how you use the VA, or your employment status - all of it matters.

The Part B penalty is 10% per year. It never goes away.

Miss your enrollment window without qualifying coverage and that penalty follows you for life. No appeals. No exceptions for VA status. No exceptions for TRICARE. No exceptions for 100% P&T disability. A one-year delay can mean thousands of dollars over a lifetime.

TRICARE and Medicare are not the same program.

How they coordinate - or whether they need to - depends on your retirement status, years of service, and plan type. TRICARE For Life requires Part B enrollment. Standard TRICARE is a different situation entirely. Getting this wrong is not recoverable at 65.

Most Medicare agents have never heard of CHAMPVA.

Most Medicare agents have never worked with the VA, TRICARE, or CHAMPVA. VSN was built because veterans deserve an agent who understands all four, and how they interact. That's the conversation you actually need at 65.

WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO

Built by a Veteran. For Veterans

Glenn Howard founded Veteran Savings Network after one thing kept happening: veterans with excellent military benefits making expensive Medicare mistakes - not because they were careless, but because nobody had explained the rules in plain language.

Glenn served two combat tours in Afghanistan with the Marine Corps. He was medically retired at 100% Permanent and Total disability. He has VA healthcare. He has TRICARE. He has lived the exact same benefits questions his clients ask him every day.

This is not a side interest. This is the work he built his life around after the uniform came off.

"I'm Glenn. I'm a retired combat veteran. I have VA and TRICARE benefits. And I built Veteran Savings Network to help other vets and their spouses navigate Medicare."

- Glenn Howard, Founder of Veteran Savings Network

Many of Glenn's team are cut from the same cloth. Former military. Former DOD. Across almost every branch. Some have even been on military installations across the country to provide Medicare education to service members and their families.

This is not a call center. This is a veteran team that shows up, sits down, and gives you honest answers.
